Karen Lienkamp receives 1.4 million euros for a project to develop bactericidal layers fighting hospital acquired infections
The Germany Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding the "ANTIBUG" project of chemist Dr. Karen Lienkamp with 1.4 million euros over three years. This project, which is hosted jointly by IMTEK and the Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technologies (FIT), will develop antibacterial bladder catheters and wound bandages. >> Press release of Uni Freiburg
